Lake County Democratic Leader is a Disgrace

It's almost 12:30 am and I am watching CNN because my Mayor, Tom McDermott was going to be on. Instead I hear the national media questioning Rudy Clay, the Mayor of Gary, repeatedly on why votes were not being released in Lake County (under his leadership) while the rest of Indiana was signed sealed and delivered one way or the other.

Wolf Blitzer even asked, why is Marion County, the largest county in the state able to report and Lake County is not. Mayor Clay's response - "We have the best people in the world counting 11,000 absentee votes (I am paraphrasing) which is the most we ever had to count!"

Mayor McDermott meanwhile is repeatedly telling CNN that he knows the results of every town in Lake County except Gary and that the votes in those cities were in at 7:30pm!

Good for Mayor McDermott on telling it like it is!

Would you please tell everyone how shortly after your Mayor's performance, more votes came in as promised. For him to mention the word 'corruption' so quickly was politically immature. He clearly has PR problems. You sound like a rural resident that is proud that pa made the news! He tried to play hardball on CNN and lost. Many Clinton supporters have expressed anger, racism and desparation. I am not saying that your mayor expressed any of the aforementioned...it just looks like it...you probably won't even post this. This was not a win for Hammond.
